We
all managed to get away from the beach on one of our most celebrated holidays,
Labor day weekend. George, ED, Jesse, and myself loaded into Jesse's Ford Escort
Wagon and got out of dodge Fri morn. The only real destination we had was up
the Eastern Shore to Philly PA and the new Tim Glomb bowl at Title 10 skatepark,
the rest of the trip was open to spontaneity. Marc Corbett (Wanchese) and Devin
Poppins (ECRW) and otheres were called in to help wrap up the bowl and we got
the call that this bowl is sick. We figured we could combine some other new
places while we were out. I guess I was dreaming to big in thinking we could
make Skater Island and beyond, another trip I suppose. New York was not out
of the question though, just that Title 10 is a real good bowl and the hotel
Sat. night spoiled our asses. Plus we got another call to come hit some backyard
love. We finished off doing a Northern VA and Southern MD route, with St Marys
as a must hit. It would of not been out of the question to hit Waldorf Skatepark
or Landsdown as well. Many thanks to all for floor space, hospitality, guidance,
patience, beer, and to all who are putting back into skateboarding by building
all this insane terrain.
